Born in El Paso, Texas, I was the eldest of six, raised by my mother Imelda, father Fernando (passed away in 1992) and my step-father Antonio.
I graduated from Occidental College in 2002 and remained in Los Angeles where I eventually taught Spanish Language and coached football at St. Francis High School. By far one of the best jobs I've ever had.
I graduated from Verdugo Fire Academy, in Glendale, California in 2007, and was hired by the Georgetown Fire Department in 2009.
Since High School I've been illustrating portraits, cartoons, comic books, and t-shirt designs for organizations and individuals, fine tuning a unique ink style inspired by 16th century German print makers.
I've only recently delved into oil painting, attempting to use it as a vehicle for my love of sequential art. I'm always learning!
Thank you for stopping by and checking out my work!
